2024 Grants in Action
Foster Grandparent Program
Each year in St. Clair and Randolph county our loving Foster Grandparent program helps support the social, emotional, and academic health through tutoring and mentoring. Pcitured are 4 students at IMPACK in Sparta who receive not only that, but are also gearing up for their summer program where they receive life skills activities: first aide training, fire and safety, making the right choices, and sewing! Their summer will be full of indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and books at no cost to them. At summer's end, donations are gathered for backpacks and other needed school supplies. If IMPACK identifies a need, they will try to address it with loving support.
Foster Grandparent Program
Nana Pat with all of her sass and personality will melt as soon as little "Juicy Fruit" (as she affectionately calls her) comes her way. She has become the loving champion in her corner that each child needs, and this special intergenerational relationship helps them both thrive each day.
